Join an Autumn Training Run with Our Alaskan Huskies
Come and meet our energetic pack of Alaskan huskies and join us for an exciting autumn training run!

Experience the unique opportunity to be part of our dogs’ autumn training and feel their enthusiasm, energy, and motivation as they hit the trail.
Before the run, we’ll harness 8–14 Alaskan huskies in front of a training cart. Each cart has a guide and can accommodate 2–4 passengers. Once the dogs are ready, we’ll set off into the beautiful autumn landscape.
You can simply sit back, enjoy the ride, and take in the scenery while your guide tells you more about our dogs, their everyday life, and how we train them for the winter season.
After the tour, we’ll unharness the dogs and let them run and play freely in the dog yard. This is a great opportunity to get to know them up close, cuddle with them, and enjoy their happy, energetic personalities.
We’ll finish the experience by warming up with hot drinks and sweet treats by the fire in our laavu hut, right next to the dog yard.

In colder weather we can borrow our parka jackets

Pick up and drop off to and from Husky Ranch Lapland.
The transfers from/to Äkäslompolo/Ylläsjärvi can be bought with extra charge.

This activity is arranged outdoors. Please wear clothes suitable for the weather and please note the clothes might get dirty while cuddling with the dogs. You can borrow our parka jacket for the ride if it's cold weather.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 30 days or less before the event
