7km Husky Cart Ride

Come to meet our pack energetic and lovable Alaskan huskies in our home ranch and join us for a 7km cart ride with our dogs. After the ride you have time to cuddle with the dogs and hear about their life.
Description
Come to meet our pack energetic Alaskan Huskies and join us for a autumn training run with our dogs.
You have a unique possibility to be a part of the autumn training of our dogs and sense their enthusiasm and motivation to run. We will harness 8-14 dogs in front of a cart (guide + 2 - 4 passengers in each carts) and hit the trail. You can just sit back and enjoy the ride and hear about our dogs, their life and the training.
After the tour we can unharness the dogs and let them run free and cuddle with them. We will have hot drinks and sweets by the fire (in our laavu hut by the dog yard)
Group size is 2-6 persons. If there is enough snow on the ground we can change the tour into sledding tour with one sled and 5-6-dog teams for 2 persons. Can be also arranged for bigger groups up to 12 persons, please ask for offer.
This activity is arranged outdoors. Please wear clothes suitable for the weather and please note the clothes might get dirty while cuddling with the dogs. You can borrow our parka jacket for the ride if it's cold weather.

Pick up and drop off to and from Husky Ranch Lapland.
The transfers from/to Äkäslompolo/Ylläsjärvi can be bought with extra charge.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 30 days or less before the event
